Default Have a 42" Panasonic Plasma & waiting form my new 50" Sony Bravia 3LCD >>>

My suggestion is that you take a look to the Bravia retroproyector ·LCD series ... much cheaper than plasmas , big sized and ready for HDTV

Default Dorm room LCD. Living room plasma.

26 or 32 inches sweet spot with LCD. Sony and Sharp are the best.
Plasma Panasonic hands down winner.
I have an EDTV as well

More like 15-20yrs for newer plasmas...compared to LCD backlight burnout in same time frame

I have a 42" Viewsonic plasma. Like it a lot, but be careful to avoid video game burn-in.
