I'm considering the possibility of using wireless for rear channel speakers in our home theater. The house is not pre-wired for home theater, and running wires now would be hideously expensive.

Will this work and do you have any reccomendations for wireless speakers? I know Advent makes some, anyone else?

Or should I be flogged with Monster Cable for even asking the question?

Monster Cable is over-rated also, for what you are doing, it could work.

Wireless speakers work well with digital signals, however, if you don't have digital TV, you'll notice a drop in the qaulity of sound. This is particularly true for those using 900Mhz.

The newer speaker running above 1Ghz might prove to be better, however, don't have experience with those.

Digital TV, but run through a Denon (for now) receiver. Speakers would be ~20 feet from receiver.

But I would still use wired speakers...just have to route them where no one can see them. You can use the flat wire
