Default Yeah, I have a friend with the bug-eye body style of the CLK430 and he...

says that thing has lots of issues. Little electrical here, little mechanical there. And he special ordered his with special paint and interior from the factory!! Nice looking car, but unfortunately kinda' junky underneath.

Gimme' an 88 300CE anyday! Still love that car.

Default I think Audi's lack of anything not a sedan for so long hurt them.

When someone looked at Audi basically they saw 3 different models, all sedans and nothing more. Hard to get less exciting then that.

Default I agree. BMW and MB has lost the reliablity in recent years..>>

Lexus does what it does without issues. Most that buy these cars don't care about performance, handling, soul, or value. It's like the SUVs - Neighbor has one so I have to have one.

Most trade cars every 2 to 3 years and they move from brand to brand. My brother had 2 lexuses (ES300 and RX300) and thought both were pretty lame when it came to the above mentioned. He thought the seats were rubbish, but service was great. He has a 5 series BMW and a MDX.

Default Problem for me is $50K cars with Hyundai service and enterprise focus loaner cars...

I don't expect to be treated like royalty but expect more from a "luxury upscale" vehicle that has more electrical gremlins than it should. I have a MB E300TD along with our 2 audis and I'm getting sick of dealers! I'm in market for a vehicle that will seat 6 adults once in a while, and although the Q7 and MB R class would work, I think it may be a Honda. (first Japanese care since my 77 toyota celica)
