Default Don't worry. Got ours when it was 90+ outside. It goes up to 5/8 and will go down only

if moving about 1 mph. reving the engine while stop doesn't help, turning on heater full blast, hels a bit. 225TTR. I have a theory of why this happens - and a proposed fix - has to do with airflow

i agree. if you have the same "problem" i have, the needle goes back to center within a minute

Default my point is that your car may be at the correct water temp...

but the variances in the resistance of the sensor, gauge, etc.m ay cause your gauge showing one mark to right.
Get the service people, or you can do it, to actually measure the temp of the water at operating temp.
