Coming home today outside temp 85 degrees. At steady 70MPH flashing red temp warning lights up and gauge is pegged to right. I pop on heat to high and cut speed to 45 to get some water. Temp gauge with heat on at idle stays at normal. Coolant level is normal. Temp gauge with heat on under load goes back to H. No coolant fan at all throughout.
Is it water pump, thermostat, or cooling fan?

keep your fingers crossed that's not it.
it's the price of a timing belt to replace.
when did you have your timing belt done? was the pump done then as well?

does the coolant resevoir recycle when you hit the gas? (ie. look in the engine bay and have someone hit the gas for you)
