Owners of BOTH Porsche Boxter and TT Roadster

I get a MILLION comments on my TT Roadster from strangers. It seems that a day doesn't go by when someone doesn't come up to me and say "nice car!!"
My second choice car was the Porsche Boxter. I'm wondering if Boxters get similar attention? At least around here it seems like Boxters are a dime a dozen so maybe the TT gets attention because it is rare. Also, the Boxter has a snooty Porsche image whereas the TT doesn't so maybe the Boxter doesn't draw as many comments from strangers for that reason.
Anyway, if anyone has owned both, I'd be interested in hearing any differences in reactions you've received.

...didn't get one compliment. I get compliments daily in my TT. So I think you're correct about the TT being less common...Boxsters have also been in production longer, so people are used to seeing them.
Would have been my second choice too, but it wasn't really comfortable for me (not enough leg room). Plus I think the TT coupe is a little bit more practical.

everywhere i go folks are always saying "nice car", even more now that the top is down. my buddy has a boxster... doesn't get nearly as must attention. i thought about a boxster, but thought the TT was much more intesting to look at, plus i really felt that the TT interior was superior in design. however, there is something nice about being able to say the words "own" and "porsche" in the same sentence. maybe soomeday i'll own one of each, but until then i'll keep my TT.

I think that people think that the TT looks cool and are interested because of that. The Boxster gets a different reaction mostly because of people's perception. Most think that the Porsche is ultra expensive and show interest because of that. Most people around me ask what kind of car the TT is. So to sum it up, TT gets attention because of design and Boxster because of the name on the hood. I love both cars and cannot tell you which I would prefer. I think that if I could get a 300hp Boxster, I would go with that.
