though if i'd started with the plan of removing it with a hacksaw, i probably wouldn't be so upset. but, as someone who wasted $50+ in tools and spent 8 hours tearing up his fingers trying to get that bloody thing out through civilized means, it's hard for me to give an unbiased answer.
