Default Silver in cans is always hard to make look right IMHO

cause the silver in spray paint seems to *gather* in corners etc...In the case of brakes tho, you may not really notice it..

Default Are you sure it can take the heat? ALthough most silvers

are based on either leafing or non leafing aluminum pigment which is extremely heat stable the base carrier in the paint might cause it to crack yellow or discolour.. I would seriously not use anything that isnt recommend for a high heat application. If you can find the right colour in high heat in the automotive section try the bbq paint area.
