Paris love affair with the TT
I just returned from two weeks of shooting pictures of Paris and London. As we exited Charles DeGaulle airport and were on our way to Paris one of my assistants pointed out a TT. By the time we arrived in Paris I saw a half dozen including a black coupe parked across from my hotel. By the end of the day I saw over a dozen.
I was staying on the left bank in the 7th arrondissement and every day we saw well over a dozen (we really stopped counting by the second day as we saw so many) TT's in and around Paris. I even saw one parked on the Champs Elysees behind a Lamborghini Murcielago. (Not sure if I would park that car in the street and go shopping.)
I do have some pictures of a TT roadster parked in front of the Tour Eiffel. The TT colors of preference in Paris seem to be Grey, black and green.
Then on to London. We once again we saw several on the way from the airport to London, however we saw just as many Lotus. In London I once again had a TT gray roadster this time parked across from my hotel. We saw almost as many as we did in Paris on a daily basis. If we saw 12+ in Paris we saw 10+ in London. Even though it was windy and cool all the roadsters had their tops down.
Interesting, but most the TT's I saw in London were driven by women. The colors of preference in London were Grey, green and blue.
I also bought some Paris / London want/ad books with prices of used cars. Will post later in the week.
