It happened today when one of Columbus' finest (sarcasm) did a u-turn towards me and I assume he saw I did not have a front license plate, then when he got close enough the donut chaser must have noticed I have 30-day temp tags and backed off and the lights went off too. Now I hear that Ohio is going to 1 plate anyways, I guess it's a slow day for him or he is jealous!
Anyone else get in trouble for not having a front plate?

besides if they were not, all of Chinatown with it's fake watches and purses would be all closed down! And NYPD has better things to do, like fight crime

FYI-
The new red light cameras that are being installed take:
1. long range front picture to show license plate
2. Close up of driver with passenger blacked out of photo (for privacy reasons)
3. Rear shot to show 2nd plate and a intersection exiting shot
4. after shots are taken a police officer reviews them to decide if they show an infraction (for instance if you are in the intersection or just stopped to far forwards)
How they benefit the City
1. If all this has happened and you are found guilty and pay a fine, a percentage goes to the camera company.
2. In Los Angeles if you are found guilty a fine is imposed, the city gets a state mandated amount and the state also gets a percentage of this fine. After that the cities are adding a court fee for administrative costs. I received a $160 fine and had to pay $280 with the additional fees attached. This additional money I believe goes into the city's general fund.
