Re: Hmmm....I just put a bug in Mrs. Bahookie's ear, but it's 1013.6 miles each way, according to
I am in the same boat as you Richard...but if I dont go my reputation as forum crackhead could be in jepordy..plus Jason would be somewhat ticked off I am sure =)

I haven't read yet if someone asked this...
I've already signed up and was a little lost (not the first time, right)... You said they charge you a $1 fee per transaction. Why was I charged $62 then?

Another question: What if you want to go but don't care about the tour? We already both signed up
and paid, but Michael pointed out that he's already done the tour thing about 50 times.

Hey, what's so funny, bud? I thought it was a legitimate question! ;-)
Seriously, we were talking about the 100 person limit for the tour and the fact that maybe not everyone would be interested in the tour. He was saying that he would give up his spot and then I explained to him that I had already paid $31.00 and HE WOULD GO THROUGH THE HOUSE WHETHER HE LIKED IT OR NOT! :-)

They charge me a flat $0.30 fee PLUS 2.2% per credit card transaction.
I think it costs me $0.96 for $30 (one person) and $1.62 for $60 (two people)... so I am actually "making" $0.04 and $0.38 respectively. Drats! You figured out my secret retirement plan!

No worries, that will just go into a "slush fund" for booze. ;)
Actually, I figured that the point of the trip was to see Fallingwater, that's what I want to do.
But I dunno, I never really thought about otherwise. I guess the incentive to pay was to get firm comittments... and don't forget the raffle, there are going to be some impressive prizes! Like they say, you got to be in it to win it.

Hey, when you write the rules, you can change them at will. ;)
Honestly, it really does not matter how Jason signs up, but I know he's all upset because he is not a TT "owner". I say he should just sign-up anyway and pretend to be a TT owner... heck, use the TTR they are selling at Exotic Imports, it's not like he's going to bring one from UT as carry-on luggage.
