Default Phase II of the countdown begins today in Seattle... Now what Chip should I get - MTM, APR or GAIC?

I have to thank everyone for their input on colors. After much consternation, I settled on a 225QC Silver/Ebony/Premium Package/Nav (btw, Amulet Red was #2). The good news is I already am own the wait list for a Bailey Valve so it should be here when my TT comes at the end of the year. As I ponder what I can do with the TT when it gets here, I am interested from the chippers as to their opinion of what chip to get to replace the stock ECU.

Thanks,

Almost TTodd

Default There are two people in the Seattle area to talk to...

Neil McGarry is the APR rep in the area (he is also a technical editor of this forum). I also have talked to Ned Ritchie at Intended Acceloration and he recommends the Garret chip. Good luck with your research. I am interested in hearing your results.

Default Nice thing with the APR (I don't know about the others) is that you can switch between different ...

modes (stock, performance, track (100 octane), valet (limited to 40mph ;-) ) on the fly. You can keep it stealthy so when you take it to the dealer it will look like stock without having to spring for a spare ECU. (Oh, yeah, and it knocks your socks off!)
