Phatnoise & CD changer???

Phatnoise & CD changer???
I have a Bose system with a CD changer, can the phatnoise be installed together with the CD changer or can I only have one source to use? I would like the ability to still play CD in a changer if needed.

Jeff Bipes used to make an adapter that would allow you to hook both up, and select which one
was active. I have the cable, but have yet to install it. He doesn't make the cable any more, and I don't know if there is a similar solution out there or not.

unfortunately mine came with a stone age style cassette head unit. It was like a flash back in time. I almost was looking for the 8-track player.

Re: a lot of people still want that adapter. Costs too much+too much time to continue making it.
it would be nice if there was a Y adapter that would split both sources and the head unit would recognize both

Sure, it's easy. Switch all the connections in the 13-cond cable except the power and ground.
Get the 3 cables needed, 2 male, one female.
Etch/Build a PCB.
Test it with a 'Concert' H/U or equiv. and 2 CD Changers
Put it in a box. Label it, promote it
Pay an exorbitant monthly fee to AW to advertise it.
You'll make a million.
