Well after seeking out a digital camera, I have finally snapped a couple of photos of my 2001 TTQC 225hp...
Here they are! My baby.

I really like the way the 5 spoke 17"s look with the black paint. From the pictures, the Raven Black doesn't look all that much different from the Brilliant Black. Did you choose between the two? What led you to select the Raven? Does the metallic paint help hide minor scratches better?

...but believe it or not, I've had various people actually notice that it wasn't just a normal black color. In person, the color carries a sort of metallic pearl within it, and, in light is very noticeable.
My intention when buying the car was to originally purchase it in black. I did not really know that Audi made a Raven Black Pearl color until the salesman pointed out that the car they had on the lot was a Raven Black. Naturally I fell in love, and decided to go with the Raven Black because of it's uniqueness and also immediate availability.
As far as scratches go, I have yet to encounter one on my TT. If and when I do, I'm sure you and everyone here on the message board will hear me yell.

except it is a 180 quattro and a 2000. I am pretty comfortable with the power but still trying to decide about chipping it or selling and getting the 225. It will come down to dollars and sense(common--probably much easier and cheaper to chip and enough power for me). Your have a beautiful car!!
