Default A-pillar boost gauge install

Want to add a boost gauge to my TT and I can think of 3 ways to install it. But the gauge pak that installs in the ashtray was a limited production and I live in AZ so blocking off a vent with APR's kit isnt the best idea (i know the air gets circulated through the other vents). So that leaves the A-pillar. For those that have done this, how hard is the install? Where can i get the fabric from the headliner to wrap the pod in (mines black, I have an ALMS). Any special way for attaching the pod to the a-pillar? Thanks.

Default If I recall correctly there is an airbag in there.

Hence not such a hot idea.
