Default Pilot Alpins in the snow :)

The Denver foothills just got about 6" of snow last night, and I just mounted my Michelin Pilot Alpins (205/50-17 on OEM wheels) yesterday. Perfect! Very satisfied with the performance - they stop short and straight on packed snow, very little sense of losing traction cornering or accelerating either. They went right up and down my 'death driveway' with no drama. Haven't tried highway speeds on dry roads yet (guess I'll have to drive into town!). I'm soooooo happy to have the use of my car back for winter!

btw, I ordered the tires from Tire Rack, and the experience was great - price, service, and delivery.

Default Ditto the above

Got my Pilot Alpins from Tire rack, too. Had mine mounted on Borbet Type T. Very sharp, excellent snow traction (so far) and good dry performance. Just in time since we'll have snow here in Buffalo for the next few days.
