Default Pipercross Cold Air Intake: One of the promoters up top, I'm not trying to knock them, but does....

but does anyone else think this setup will not work? I mean, 80% if not more of the air it is sucking in is coming from the engine bay. Perhaps one of the PiperCross people might want to add some input to my question.

Default I didn't say for the TT. IMO, the picture I posted just doesn't work. Even the picture you posted,

Do you think the car is getting more or less cold air? It might be getting more air, but it is also getting more warm air.

Default Righto. If you can supply cooler air, then it improves HP. If not, a waste on a turbo car.

Vent that puppy out into the wheel well, and then we can talk about improvements.

Everything I know about this I learned at TT University aka right here. YMMV.

Default from the looks of it, it looks like a poor design

The whole idea of a cold air intake is to bring cold air into the engine which inturn allows the turbo to put out more hp .. in this case all the air from the engine bay will be sucked in, a better design would bring the intake lower/ closer to the bottom of the car..
