Default Planning on changing springs. Any insight would be

greatly appreciated.
I'm looking to drop 1" to 1.5" of ride height out of the car but would prefer to keep the ride quality as unchanged as possible. Which is to say I don't want the 'Chrome Gerbil' to ride like a rail car...
Any comments from memebers regarding their experiences would helpful.

Default Eibachs are the preferred spring. Lowers the car 1.1"...>>

also you shocks are probably shot too. Either Bilstein sport or Koni adjustable works great. The bilsteins seem to be not as harsh.

Hope this helps,

Default UUC also is highly regarded here

and does not drop the car quite as much as the others.

I was under the impression that Bilsteins were MORE harsh. Am I mistaken?

Default I belive they are firmer but not bone jarring. I have driven several...>>

cars with this setup and it wasn't bad. Actually they were better than stock on some bumps and potholes.

I'm not sure about the Koni's. But had a set on a Datsun 240Z and was impressed with them.

When lowering, do you need anything else beyond shocks and springs?
