Default Played with an RX7 on the way in to work...

Don't know much about this car, but it was the last model before being discontinued by Mazda. Don't know what kind of modded state he was in. I love the way that car looks. Looks like it is forged/sculpted from a piece of iron, anyway...

While taking the off ramp to Rt50 North from Rt66 west in NOVA, I noticed a fast approaching car in the rear view miror. A few seconds later he flew past me, and I switch lanes and caught up to him with slower traffic ahead. My exit was coming up a half mile or so so I switch back to the right lane, which also happend to be moving faster. I passed him and he got on my tail, then tried to pass me on the left. He ran out of room and got back behind me and took the same off ramp.

I put the TT in 3rd and zipped around the sharp 270* off ramp probably at around 50mph. The road was still a little wet from the rain, and I felt the car understeer, but managed to negotiate the off ramp w/o incident. When I got onto Wext Ox and looked in the rear view mirror, he was no where to be found. A few seconds later I saw him slowly merging onto West Ox.

We both stopped at the next light and he gave me a thumbs up as did I.

QUATTRO rules!

Then sadly while entering the office parking lot, a squirel decided that he had enough of this world and ran under my car only to get trampled by both passenger side tires. :-(

The TwinTurbo RX7 was/is a pretty fast car. I think it was ~300hp stock.

Default From a really small displacement Wankel rotary engine, and very light weight - compared to our

little piggies!

(see I know some stuff)

Wasn't behind him for very long, so didn't get to pick up any details.

Default It's ironic that Audi actually gets (or used to get) paid licensing fees from Mazda for the ...

use of the Wankel Rotary Engine since it was developed by NSU.
