IMO the TT is already low enough unless you want to scrape the underside of the front valence on exiting driveways or entering them.
I personally would not do 19" After bending many 18" rims on Governor Ahnold's potholes, I finally settled on going with BFG KDW 2 in 225/45 x18 rather than 40 series which could not withstand California potholes. For my 225 TT and for my present 3.2 TT the 45 series tires run better. No more bent rims. Knock wood. Yes, the speedometer and odometer are probably off a little.
Finally, as a matter of design appearance, IMO the 19" rims are slightly too large for the TT size. I have had complements that my 45 series tires on 18" rims fill out the fender openings in just the right proportion without lowering.
What you decide should be a factor of road conditions where you live. Since you have stated you probably would not lower, I would recommend 18" rims and 45 series tires.

18" looks larger mostly because of the decreased tire sidewall compared to the overall diameter of the wheel. unless you need the clearance for a bbk, you'd be better off sticking with 17" and having your speedo actually work correctly.
