Default Logic modes don't disable anything. There is a programming routine for that >>>
see the V1 site for instructions.

X band is still used in Oregon, I think. Here in Cali, the motorcycle cops have K band a lot, while cruisers seem to have Ka mostly but sometimes K. Haven't come across much laser, and I don't think X is being used at all.
