Ok, what is the difference between the Porsche caliper upgrades out there. How different are the calipers on the Boxster, Boxster S, 993 and 'Big Reds'? How do they differ? Are they all the same just on different cars? Also, How does the parking brake work on Porsches? I noticed the rear calipers don't have the same parking brake setup we have. Thanks

caliper and is the "Big Red". You can go even bigger, though, with calipers from the Cayenne, they are HUGE.
The ECS kits are built in stages around each of these calipers. If you have not, check out their descriptions. Here is a summary:
Stage 1 is just a new larger rotor, with the stock TT calipers spaced out to fit the new rotor diameter.
Stage 2 is Boxster calipers (v1 is with TT OEM rotor [312 mm], v2 is with a larger diameter rotor [332 mm])
Stage 3 is 993 calipers with a 322 mm rotor.
Stage 4 is a 355 mm rotor. The caliper looks to be from the Boxster (like stage 2), but it could be the 993, I am not sure.
Stage 5 is a 358 mm rotor and calipers from the Cayenne.<ul><li><a href="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&engine=225HP&mo del=TT&submodel=Quattro&category=Braking"> http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&engine=225HP&mo del=TT&
