Default Is it possible to "vapor lock" the coolant pump? I am not getting any coolant running to the...

thermostat which I replaced today. The coolant pump vanes felt solid and still intact to the touch. According to the Bentley, it appears that the coolant runs into the block through the thermostat, rather than out of the thermostat. That hose, which connects to the bottom of the radiator, doesn't get very hot - unlike the other coolant hoses.

I know the thermostat works (boiled it and watched it open). My only remaining thoughts are (in order of likeliness)

2. Coolant pump is actually broken...(any way I could tell?)
1. Radiator is blocked. This would explain hot hoses on the top and cool hoses on the bottom. This would also explain why my fans have not been kicking on even though the temp reads 105 (just replaced the fan switch too).

Anybody know the best way to find out where a radiator might be blocked? Can I blow air through it or something? Help please!!

Default I believe I am fixed.

I think I was just not running the pump at high enough speed. Revving the engine instead of just idling it, and adding more coolant per the Bentley seems to have filled the line. I think my problem was actually the thermostat, but replacing the fan switch has given me peace of mind - those kick on as advertised now as well.
