But the fact is that it will. Every high end european tuner knows that the stock box is just fine
especially if vented.
Plus.. the stock box is less restrictive than a TTDA with it's "feeds" run. 7 feet of hose.

I ran with a completely open intake for a few months
but honestly that much noise did get old, I missed the sound of my APR exhaust. The VTDA setup seems to provide a decent combination of insulation and doesn't feel like it's restricted compared to the open element.
