Is it possible to paint your tail lights "from inside the lens". Or are the lenses red?

no they are red and have the reflection pattern cut into the back of the lense...
I just tinted mine with R/C window tint spray then sanded with 1000 then clear coat then 2000grit then just polish and buff! walla its more glossy then the car!
