Default possible stupid question:

do spacers come in diffrent diameters? will they work with all rims assuming the bolt pattern and center bore is the same?

Default My anwsers...although might not be helpful...

Smaller size spacers (5mm 8mm) can fit a 5x100 or 5x112 bolt pattern. Some companies make "universal" fit spacers and frankly I wouldn't put that on my car.

Go with a proven company H&R etc...

Find the correct size you want/need.

Just remember this piece is the part your wheels go on...you don't want to screw it up

Default i ordered the h&r 15mm...

in 5x100. but what i am concerned about is not the thickness, but the outside diameter of the spacer itself. will the spacer match the size of the hub on the tt so that the inside of the wheel sits on top of the spacer?

Default yea...you will be fine. If you peak through the spokes on your rim...

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/81234/dsc01397.jpg"></center><p>You will be able to see the spacer. 15's? going on back?

Here is a shot of 25's H&amp;R on the rear.

Your 15's wont bolt onto the hub, rather just slip over the ring on the hub and the longer bolts you ordered will assist in secure fitment.

Default awesome! i am much more at ease now...

thanks for the pic as well, clarifies everything. as for 15mm on the rear, the offset of my rims is 40 so 15 seems like it will do the job. plus a bunch of 15mm (which have been on backorder forever!) were just delivered to pure motorsports and i had to jump at them. thanks again for the help!

Default 40 on back -15...should be nice.

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/81234/rear_rim.jpg"></center><p>I run a 40 offset on my rear with a 20mm spacer.
However, mine is FWD and I needed clearance from the inside of the frame. Also, my rims is a 19x9.5... I like the look although some would consider too much. Ironically I only rub on really hard dips at high speeds
