Default Possible stupid question: will Porsche wheels fit the TT's pattern? >>

Specifically, will a set of 19" 997 Turbo wheels fit (obv with spacers, etc). The tires normally shod on them are Michelin PS2 235/35/19 front tires and 305/30/19 rear tires.

Thanks for putting up with this - I really don't know jack about wheels.

No but you can get adapters to make them fit.

255 rears are about the max... no way 305 would fit.

Default I run 265 with no problems and have had 275 with slight rubbing on bumps...

this of course will KW coilovers all the way at the last rear on rear with perches flipped.

I agree, that 305 is way to big but it would look so nice if it were possible to get it done on the TT.

Default Re: porsche wheels the 11 inch rears are a big problem

You would have to run special adapters and spacers( GMP performance). You also cannot use the 65mm offset rear wheels, it's tough enough with the 45mm ones. Even then, forget lowering and you'll still probably need wider rear fenders. See my "new rims" post. I am fitting a set of hollow 996 rims, but I do have a fender kit.
