Default just use the OEM bushing. audi obviously didn't find a problem with those on the s-line and TT sport

i think both of those setups are just a bit lower.

Default I think it's both - as you lower the car - the LCA angle rises at the ball joint....

which is why you don't want to lower these cars too much - and why Audi/VW changed the hub design for the TT to accommodate this so as to not get into a positive camber situation through the suspension travel. So with a more severe angle to start with - in combination with the suspension travel - I can see how this would happen.

I agree about the disclaimer though - if I'd have known up front I wouldn't have purchased them.

The mk1 bushings weren't solid and I think had slots/cuts to allow that kind of movement

Default No worries - failure is sometimes part of trying :-)

plus the Powerflex people just informed me that they are testing a spherical kit now. I'm trying to see if I can participate in the testing as part of Project TT. :-)

Default GorTT is using the MKI rear now - but with a Poly front - i'm thinking that mixing and matching is..

not a good thing in terms of wear. Until I get this sorted out - I might just put the MKI rears in - since I have defcon with oem MKI fronts in. Maybe the eccentric in the MKII arms worked better with the OEM MKII rears - I have no idea. Problem is that there are WAY too many variables involved here to accurately diagnose the problem. One thing I do know is VW finally changed the design of the MKV's to remove the donut and use a slot more like the front bush in the rear position now......
