Default Prices for 3.2?

Since the 3.2 is now available for order, surely someone has MSRP and invoice pricing but I haven't seen it yet, and did not think to ask the dealer when he called me last week. Anyone here care to post?

Default Actual MSRP and invoice?

Thanks for the help but the prices quoted still seem to be speculation. Is there an actual MSRP set yet? and more importantly does anyone have invoice info yet. With TT sales currently in the dumps, I think that might be important too. sorry for my impertinence.

Default Re: Actual MSRP and invoice?

Nope. That is currently only estimates from the various car mags out there. The 2-3K option is probably pretty accurate because the order sheets have options that are more or less what the 03 TT's have for options now so you have an idea of what those cost. What people don't know for sure is the actual base price of the 04 TTs 3.2 or otherwise.

Default Ok, my estimates

Based on the info found on Edmunds for the 2003 225TTcoupe and using 40K as base price for the 2004TT3.2Coupe, I came up with $40K base price, add 660 freight, 1200 for audio, 1100 for premium, and 775 for upgraded wheels, totalling $43735. Invoice would be about 36194 base, 660 for freight, 1068 for audio, 979 for premium, 690 for wheels, totalling $40191. This is a $4K premium over the invoice for the 2003 model 225! You have to wonder how much of that is the DSG and how much for the other mods and upgrades. I still think that even at close to invoice, Audi is not going to sell many of these.

Default Re: Ok, my estimates

According to my sales rep, on '03 models the Premium Package ($1100 in '03) also included Xenon, which is now standard with the '04's. He said Xenon is usually a $500 option, so you might be able to take that off your estimate and only account $600 for Premium on the '04's.

Doesn't Audi usually charge a hefty fee for automatics over manual? If so, since the 3.2 is only coming with DSG, that might have been a factor in the base price. If that's the case, IF a 6-speed eventually comes out it might not be that bad of a deal with the other upgrades.

'03 Prices:
PPX - Premium Pkg - $1100
PAS - Audio Pkg - $1200
PNK - Nav Pkg - $1350
PRY - 18" 7-spoke HP Tires - $775
P19 - Alcantara Steering Wheel w/ Tip - $275
9ZG - Cell Prep - $350
Dest Charge - $660
