Default Problems again...

Afternoon all,
Has anyone else had an issue with his/her batter draining...for no reason.
I had left my car parked for a wk, maybe 8 days because I had to have Audi get me a new tire and didn't want to drive on the DONUT. When I went out to start the car, nothing. No lights, no horn, NOTHING. I had it towed and now Audi doesn't seem to know why it was drained.
Anyone have this problem?

Default Battery

My car frequently sits for 5 to 7 days when I travel or take my 'beater' to the train station during the week. So far (3 1/2 months) I haven't had a single issue with loss of battery charge.

Jeffery,

My 180Q has a requrring problen that if it is
not driven for 2-3 days, the battery drains down.

And if you then call Audi Roadside and they
jump start the battery (always works), there is
an interesting side effect.

The car's odometer reading goes to zero miles.

Audi has ordered a new instrument cluster,
which is months late (due to Kessel SAP fiasco)
and I wonder if a new cluster will fix the
battery drain issue.

Did you jump your battery?

Me too. I drive a beat up Mazda to the train station, and my TTQ will sit in the garage until the weekend. Knock on wood that I haven't had that problem.

Yup, I had them jump it before I MADE them load it on the flat bed...in the snow (my poor baby, all snow covered)
I ran it for about 15-20 mins before it go loaded on the truck but when it got up to the dealer it was dead again...
what do you think...lemon law? haha

No battery problems. My 180Q sits outside, sometimes for a week between starts. Last week, on a 4 degree morning, it started right up after being out in deep cold, unused for a week....

Now, ask me about my CD player instead.......
