Default Problems with Idle after fixing the MAF. Any help?

The dealer changed my MAF so the P1128 error is gone.

However since then the idle is very rough with periodic jumps from 800 to 1300.

When it is very cold it does not do it because the RPM is up constantly(which is fine), but after 2,3 mins, once it's down to 800 it starts jumping every 5-10 seconds. very annoying! After few hours of driving it seems to not be happening as frequently.

Any ideas?
- spark plugs? throttle body?

no CEL, it has 58k miles and soon will need the 60k service.

Thanks!

Does it idle normally with the MAF disconnected?

... but I thought the 40k service the dealer did under warrandy included it.

I could change them but was just wondering if this issue is a coincidence or it could be related to the new MAF....

Default Apparently they didn't reset the bogus fuel maps...>

Built up from the bad MAF. Driving will eventually bring them back in line (which is why it's getting better) or you can disconnect the negative battery terminal for a few minutes to re-set them and clear the memory..

Good point. Thanks! Will try with the battery.

Per secreTTasianman's advice- if I disconnect the MAF the idle is normal.

At this point it seems like it's either the fuel maps or they just put in a bad MAF.
