Default

my first guess would be a MAF issue or a boost leak, as has been mentioned.

Default Very nice car! I use Chris's shop also!

Haven't seen you around town yet.

I drive a pretty stock looking black roadster and a pretty distinctive red Scirocco.

Default can't you just stop at one of those fireworks stands and stock up on smoke bombs?

Default Need to call them and find out where they are, should be here very soon.

My coilovers did show up today though

Oh, and September trip plan sounds good! Will have to do a run down to your neighborhood to do a shake down run once I get all the new toys installed on my car

Default You received some good suggestions here, I'd point out

you mentioned it's a new TB so it shouldn't be dirty, but good to check. From personal BT expierience (with tuning problems, I am still on factory tuning) you should invest in an EGT and Wideband, I use Zeitronix but there are plenty of widebands out there. Do you have an adjustable FPR? If you have a local Audi dealer, even though it's not stock they will still smoke test it for you. Or by Steve's pressure tester and a fog machine like for haloween. Do you have a VagCom cable and lemmiwinks, you can possiblly help the cold start by increasing your idle by 50 rpm, until you find the root of the problem.
