Default definitely look for a leak! -- forgot to mention that below >>

i had many when i installed my kit. had to track them all down. i used the modshack pressure tester. steve can make you a custom fitting for your intake pipe.

Default You already have 500cc injectors...

I don't think they would be the problem. I have an APR stgIII+ 225, and I often run rich. In addition to what the others have suggested, is there a possibility that O2 sensors could be contributing to your problems? Good luck, the stgIII+ kit really rocks when everything is running properly.

Default thanks... couple questions >>

Did you have any issues w/ back-firing? Also, did your car initially run lean?

The O2 sensors havent been checked since the kit was installed so theres a chance they could be bad... Definitely worth investigating...

Speaking of O2 sensors I see youre running a test pipe (straight pipe/no cats)? how did you solve the O2 sensor problem so you dont throw codes? Right now I'm running a 2.5" milltek cat-back and I was thinking about switching to a 3" turbo-back w/ straight pipe, but I was concerned about the sensors... Was there a certain resistor you used?
Also, did you see a lot of gains from the test-pipe? Just curious whether or not its worth the investment

Good to have another Stg III+ on here to compare notes with

TIA

Default APR can write you a code for the upstream O2 sensor but you will need to "modify" your downstream...

sensor. Check the link.<ul><li><a href="http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3768940&amp;postid=49634892">http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3768940&amp;postid=49634892</a</li></ul>
