Shade Tree Software, LLC is proud to announce ProDiag 1.05. This
latest release, which is a free upgrade to all existing ProDiag users,
includes new features and bug fixes.
Chief among the news features is real-time graphing support. You
can now view your measuring value block data graphically, in real-time.
All four data values in a measuring value block can be graphed
simultaneously. You can even control the maximum and minimum
graph values for each data type, allowing you to customize your view.
So, now you can graph and log data at the same time.
People have asked for better organization of saved logs and DTCs.
ProDiag now saves its logs and DTC lists in the "ProDiag" Memo Pad
category. If this category doesn't exist, ProDiag creates it.
We have made some small timing changes and we are now able to
connect to 2002 and 2003 airbag ECUs.
ProDiag version 1.05 also adds support for output tests on brake system
ECUs.
These are just some of the many improvements found in release 1.05.
In addition to the 1.05 ProDiag release, we also have new vehicle
data and an updated user's manual. You can download everything

Check the site below out for more info on this PDA-based diagnostic product. Very, very cool. There is still a place for the popular PC-based product for many applications but how can you argue about the benefits of the PDA-footprint for a car owner who just has an occasional need to access this info and can benefit from the portability.
Hopefully Palm and Shade Tree Software will get the serial port bugs fixed for the new PalmOS (that run OS 5.0 and 5.2) devices so us users of Palm Tungsten T's (aka "TT's") and Tungsten C's, Palm Zires and the newest Sony Clie's can use this product on our PDA's!

Shade Tree Software main site

And serial communications can be very "finicky".
Keep us posted. By the way, this is important because anyone buying a PalmOS-based device these days will most likley get one with the new OS as they are the only ones that support the faster processors. Plus all Audi TT owners have Tungsten T (TT) PDA's!

Just to clarify, there are two issues here. One is a serial problem with PalmOS 5.x. The other is USB support for Zires (which does not have a serial interface). We are investigating solutions for both problems. I've had some good progress with the PalmOS 5.x problem, but cannot promise an availability date at this time.
