Default Prolong tire life? Front or Back?

the fronts have a good amount of tread left... rears not so much

im assuming leave the bald ones on the rear?

Default Depends--- With me it is a toss up.

Very little difference in wear rate front to rear for me. I'm beginning to think I actually wear rears faster. At least that is where the slick ones always end up when it is time to buy new. Of course I like you tend to put the better ones on front as they near the end of their life.

Default The only way to prolong tire life is to rotate front-rear every 5K miles and check your alignment

regularly. What kind of wear are you getting? Inside edge? Any feathering?

As long as the diameters are within 5% or less you are fine. A few 32nds won't matter.

Default on the same axle, yes! and what happens when you put on the donut spare

albeit even though it advices not exceed 55mph..and that is more a function of the tire and not the haldex...but if it were truly harmful they wouldn't even allow that....there are some that ride different height to width ratios without problems....tread depth is really small potatos compared to that.....
