Q: Earlier TT had an ASR button and now an ESP button, does the ESP disable also disable the ASR ?

Anotehr question :

I read that you gus in the US get cars that dont have ESP , and that ESP is beeing provided from week 18 , Ive read that all car manufactored from week 50 (13/12-99) have ESP.

Default I just took delivery of a 225 Roadster built 3/00 and it does not have ESP.

Default From the Audi AG press release :ESP was introduced as standard ..the end of last year.(more)

From official pressrelease :

ESP was introduced as standard equipment for the TT in the course of model enhancement measures at the end of last year. At the same time the list price in Germany was increased by DM 650. Yes, I believe the ESP button also disables the ASR.

For some reason Audi has built TT's for the US without ESP in-between regular ESP-equipped TT's.
