Default Question for 180 TT owners

When you're going 70 in 5th gear, at what rpm are you sitting at?

Default Quattro = 3,000. Same as the 225....>>

Same tranny 02M. the 180 has a spacer where 6th is on the 225.

5th (180) and 6th (225) are the same.

Same final drive ratio too.

Default not true.

5'th on 180 is same as 5'th on 225.
2'nd is also the same. The rest of gear ratios are different.

https://www.audiworld.com/model/tt/01/coupe_specs.shtml

acutally, that might be a misprint. 5'th gears are probably also different.

Default Nope. Got it directly from Bentley...>>

1st through 5th on 6 speed are different.

The 6 speed tranny is great for tight mountain road like the Dragon. The 5 speed has a problem with 2nd and 3rd. Too long. I think there is a 2,000 rpm difference between 2nd and 3rd which screws with the turbo spooling.

Default I'm at 67 mph at 3000 rpm (cruise control) so maybe about 3100.

That's with Revo SPS1 but it shouldn't be much difference.
