Question about clicking front suspension

I get a clicking noise from the front whenever the car is moving very slowly. I can also reproduce it when I turn the steering wheel at slow speeds. I think the clicking is there all the time, I just don't hear it at higher speeds due to road noise, etc.
I've STFU and get many hits on the plastic sleeve failing between the anti-sway bar and the bushing. However, the noise is described mostly as a squeak. I don't get a squeak at all, I get a (ratcheting) clicking noise.
Am I looking in the right area for a fix? What else could cause a clicking sound?

... so I don't think it's a CV joint.
If it were, I'd get clicking directly proportional to wheel speed. I only get the noise when I am either applying pressure on the brakes or turning the wheel. And the clicks are then somewhat random and not related to wheel speed but more to suspension compression.

could also be a wheel bearing showing signs of wear, although that is typically more of a groaning type of noise...
Do not dismiss the CV joint...could just be early signs....
