Default Question about the Crisco technique to get bugs off the front...

What are the steps to do that? Should I wash the nose with dawn to get wax etc off? Then just layer on Crisco and let it sit overnight? Then tomarrow morning wipe/wash it off? Do i need to rub the Crisco in? How much should I use?

Default Just dab a little crisco on the hard to remove bug and

let it sit over night and by morning the bug will be soft and easy to remove. I lived in Florida [Sarastoa] for 14 years and the love bugs were awful. This is the best way to remove the bug and not the wax.I worked for a Mercedes dealer and thats the way they did it. A faster way but you must be very, very careful is to do the crisco thing and use a heat gun.If your not handy with the heat gun DON"T try this on your "TT"

Default Do you think I can just put a layer on the whole nose and tomarrow morning wash it off?

Or should I JUST do the single bugs? Is there any harm to the paint/clear coat if I let it sit on there? I am assming there is no problem letting it sit, but I want to be safe

Once Zainoed, just use the water/car wash solution you use with the clay bar.

Should be okay, but don't let it cook in the sun, otherwise, I've heard it discolors.

Default Tom, I've slathered the Crisco on thet front and wiped it off in the morning...

I don't know if it took the wax off or not because wax is invisible to me.

No prep, just Crisco and wipe off in the morning. It's just vegetable shortening. It can't hurt, as far as I can tell.

Awsome, it takes everything off (bugs, and such), right? How much did you put on- thin layer?
