Default Question about forge/OCT FMIC install on 225s>>

I noticed on the driver's side, starting at the throttle body, the hose goes down and connects to a plastic piece which then connects to the drivers side intercooler.... whereas the passenger side just goes from the turbo pipe straight to the IC.

When you install an FMIC (either forge or OCT or other) do they get rid of that plastic piece or do you still have to use those?

Default I think both the OCT and the Forge use the connections...

Specifically with the Forge there is a metal sleeve that is used to connect the upper hose with the hose that goes into the FMIC and then on the exit side you reuse the plastic connector to splice the upper and lower hoses together. The OCT FMIC seems the same.

Here's the passenger side

Default I do :) but I was just curious... man I need to install that!!!

maybe when my clear corners get here I'll get to it!

I wanted to wait till I had money for a grill, SAMCO IC hoses and a forge DV relocation kit... but that might be another year so I guess I can just remove the bumper twice
