Default Question for Becart frame owners

I'm thinking I really like the Becart license plate frames, particularly the dimpled ones, but I was sort of bummed to hear that you can only get the dimpled frame for the rear. I have a couple of questions.

1. Has anyone noticed that you have different frames on the front and the rear?
2. I know that "value" is a personal thing, but I thought the $95 included both frames. IT turns out that it's $95 for the rear and an additional $85 for the front. Do you find that they are SO nice that the pair is worth $180?
3. Did anyone get a discount for being a forum member, etc?

Default I have them....

and love them. The dimpled frame on the rear looks terrific and I have people comment on them. I believe I got 10 % off (approximate) since I was one of the first group to order. Maybe you can ask for the same discount from Roger, explaining that you learned about them form Audi World Forum etc. I also think the price included shipping.

Default I got one for each car... both in rear

I like them a lot. The finish on the TT was done better. The one on my V70R has the bolts sticking out way too far. Just shows that they are handmade I guess. Can't notice from a distance.

Default Michael and I both have the dimpled ones and they are well worth the money. They are made out of a

solid piece of aluminum and the license plate slides inside. Anytime you're around Reston you're welcome to come and see them first hand. There is nothing comparable on the market, and they are priced accordingly. Each is handmade.

Default What is the question? If that isn't what you ordered you should give Roger a call. (The dimpled one

costs more.)

Default Re: Question for Becart frame owners

I sent them an email a couple weeks ago. The post price is for one plate. They make a separate plate for the front ... which is sized to fit correcting within that Audi black plastic frame mounting.

I must admit though, I wound up buying the brushed stainless rear frame from Serious Auto ($20) and have gotten 4 unsolicited compliments on it ... one from the Audi Dealer. I have plan for the front plate that involve cutting a Wshington State plate to fit in a Euro frame ...
