Default Question for Roadster Owners ...

As I was playing with my car this weekend, it suddenly dawned on me that I did not know how to de-activate the in-car trunk release. I assume that the car has such a security feature but couldn't find it in the manual. If the switch cannot be disabled, the only safe places to store anything in the car while the top is down is in the glove box and locking compartment behind the seat, which doesn't seem right. Any thoughts / solutions would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I have not seen it in the documentation, but arming the alarm disables the trunk release button. To verify: Sit in the car with the door open. Press the center button in the center console. The red LED on the corner of the button should light. This disables the motion sensor. Stay in the car, and close the door. (the LED should go out) Use your remote to arm the alarm system. Press the trunk release button. Nothing happens... I just verified this a little while ago.

Perfect. That's good enough for me.
