Default question for those who have ever purchased TT rims/tires off ebay?...
i won a bid this week for a set of OEM 5-spoke wheels/tires. $600 for the bunch. the seller is telling me that shipping from texas to boston will be $85 per... nearly $400 when all is said and done! my question is what have others paid? i figure shipping to be no more than $200 on the high side.

I once shipped out 4 tires/rims for like $100 thru UPS to Seattle, Washington from Virginia.

Default He may have priced a single tire, w/ UPS boxing it for him plus insurance may get to 85, I paid 43
(31 plus 12 for a box) UPS ground to send one tire that they boxed (no rim so much less weight) and no insurance. But 4 wheels at once you are correct is a hell of a lot cheaper as people above prove.
