Default This begs the obvious question:Why isn't Audi just having Bosch supply these instead of the OEM POS?

That is if it works any better than the OEM

Default Why don't you test the vaccum rating of the new valve and compare it to the factory valve...

I bet the vaccum rating is the same on both teh valves. I bought one of the Super Duper (TM) valves also but the only thing it did was to stop the honking sound. I found that the high gear performance of this valve was lousy. Hence I bought a different valve now.

Default This valve costs twice as much as the OEM valve...

I figure someone at Audi wanted to save some money.

Default But the OEM is dirt cheap (in many ways), so even 2 times is not much considering all the bad ...

press plus the fact that many people have had multiple OEM valves installed since the problem remains.

It cracks open at 7 in Hg, and completely opened at 12 in Hg
