Why don't you test the vaccum rating of the new valve and compare it to the factory valve...
I bet the vaccum rating is the same on both teh valves. I bought one of the Super Duper (TM) valves also but the only thing it did was to stop the honking sound. I found that the high gear performance of this valve was lousy. Hence I bought a different valve now.

But the OEM is dirt cheap (in many ways), so even 2 times is not much considering all the bad ...
press plus the fact that many people have had multiple OEM valves installed since the problem remains.
