Default Re: Audi vs Japanese reliability

As a former Toyota and Lexus service director I can tell you the reliability of these two is probably better than Audi or Porsche - but they do tend to loosen up more and rattle in time, but they are not driver's cars like Audi's are(except for the Supra & GS) and do not have the passion factor. For a get to point b from point a person a Toyota is probably better basic transportation, and a lot cheaper to buy - but if you like to drive - then it is Audi! And that's all I got to say about that!
"I have three Jap built cars..." Must you use the word "Jap"? Are you too lazy to type out the word Japanese or are you just plain ignorant of the fact that the word "Jap" is derogatory?

Default Re: Audi Customer Satisfaction index

If your dealer is on the top of the list for his region, it will be on prominent display in the showroom, if they are not top rated I would ask the sales mgr to show you the list for their region, if they refuse, I'd probably want to shop elsewhere.
I also believe that you can ask Audi USA directly.

Thanks to everyone for their thoughtful and frank replies! After a night's sleep and a second review of the forum, I still like the TT, although the BMW z-class is also an attractive althernative.
Thanks again!
B.
