Found the forum before buying the car. Before I spent that kind of money, I needed to know a) How the car handled in snow and b) more about the recall issue. Found everything I needed to know (and more) here.

Talked to dealer on tuesday, test drove thursday, drove it home saturday. Guess I'm more into instant gratification than you are.

...I got lucky and stepped into the midst of a 180Q order which somebody else cancelled. Otherwise, the estimate was closer to 7 or 8 months between the time I made my deposit and the eventual delivery date.
