Or those who are very familiar with both vehicles.
Although the 1.8T and the 3.2V6 seem very similar aesthetically, it seems that there are slight differences between the two vehicles.
Besides the obvious difference between the two engines, exhaust and suspension...what other differences have you noticed? pro's and con's?

Here's how my thought process went:
3.2 DSG
Advantages:
1. Probably a bit quicker.
2. Sounds a lot cooler.
3. Looks a little cooler.
4. Better resale value.
5. New tranny seems awesome.
6. Bigger brakes.
7. Fatter anti-sway bars.
8. Stiffer springs and shocks.
9. Perhaps better gas mileage (we'll see).
10. Launch Control may be a gimmick, but it's cool.
11. No turbo lag.
12. No turbo to worry about blowing.
13. No diverter valve issues.
14. Should be easier to get consistently fast starts without dumping the clutch at high RPM.
15. 3.2 engine offers extremely fast throttle response.
Disadvantages:
1. DSG tranny is new and unproven.
2. Perhaps a touch heavier (though not by much).
3. Less moddable.
4. Clunky shifter is not very attractive.
5. No spare tire.
225q TT
Advantages:
1. More moddable
2. Proven reliable and durable tranny.
3. Shifter looks cooler.
4. Has an compact spare tire.
Disadvantages
1. Inferior stock suspension.
2. Anti-sway bars will give more understeer.
3. Probably not as fast, especially under normal driving conditions (i.e. no chip/no clutch dump).
4. Doesn't have some of the new trim, which I like.
5. Smaller brakes.
6. Doesn't sound nearly as mean (assumes stock exhaust).
7. Resale may take a slight hit as V6 sports cars are often considered more desirable than 4 bangers.
8. Turbo lag.
9. Potential turbo/DV related issues.

Gills are for fish not a TT, Automatic looking shifters are for posers, not drivers. And.....well I think I've said enough ;-)
