Default Cause I wouldn't take my car to ANY of them for service....

mainly because I live in Vacaville and it's simply too far. Diablo is where I buy all my cars - but I never service them there - but might give em another shot since alots changed since I had several HORRIBLE experiences there. Plus Niello in Sac is much easier to get to and i've been pleased with service from them.

Default Think so...........

I ran a bunch of logs, swapped in a "J" N75 and a New Maf and - boost is back up to 20 psi and comes on much quicker in the rpm range. Could have been the N75 or the MAF or both - but MAF readings were low in the under 5k range - where all the torque and HP are made. Up top they were right on - so it appears that they were affecting the creation of boost down low. Goes back to the dyno next friday to see if the number move back up. Butt dyno says they will.

Glad to hear it! Now when my MAF went out, boost was fine - bet it was N-75

Default Well I did the N75 first and then the MAF........

and there was a noticable difference in boost with the N75 but an even biggest boost down low and much more smoothness with the new MAF. Although I didn't do any logs with just the N75 change. Both the tuners i've been working with - Dick Chiang at DSR and Jeff Moss at Torque Factory believe the MAF had more to do with it than the N75.

Default I go to Royal in SF and bring my oil. It's less than $50 there.

Anyone ever go to the one in Oakland on Broadway? I was thinking of going there for the non-service interval oil changes since I live in Oakland.

Well the MAF has "mysterious" effects on our ECM, so I won't put a big bet on my guess ;-P

Default my parents got charged $500 in Switzerland

when they lived there, everytime they took in their audi for 10k increment service, the dealer charged them $500!! i was like, "dad, i get it for free here in the states!" he couldn't believe that it was included here. i guess europe doesn't have any type of free scheduled maintenance.
