Default R & T Long-Term test of TT FWD

Excuse me if this has already been discussed, but the intro to the test has nice things to say about our car and very lil negative. Mentions the "stability" problem and the recall but almost dismisses it as an issue. Goes on to say: "the TT is lots of fun....", "The Audi's small stature and spunky engine allow it to zip through commuter traffic like nothing else.", and "the TT should enjoy a low cost-per-mile figure at the end of our 50,000 mile long-term test." Interesting to note that in the same, Feb, issue there is a concluding report on their long-term test of the Boxster and they commented that: "after 50,000 miles, some of the magic is gone. Shifter feels loose, pedal cluster binds...some squeaks and rattles are noticeable; the Boxster just doesn't seem as tight and special as Porsches of yore." Shall be interesting to follow the reports on the TT.....
