Don't keep it longer over 4.5K RPM before it hasn't at least 500 miles on it, but after that .. well .. I don't envy you since you don't have the chance to have it at 6K RPM or even higher in 6 gear like me on Monday. AC setting showed me 242 km/h at 6K RPM and there was still some air .. once it's broken in I'll tell you how much it'll make .. I'd say sth around real 252 km/h. For a Roadster that's a good figure
Well .. I can tell you on Monday ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
But back to your question .. yes, take her up to 5.5-6K RPM after 250 miles for 3-4 minutes (to be on the safe side) in the highest gear after you warmed her up slowly .. the engenieers I talked to told me, that sth happens with the surface in the cylindre .. blabla .. whatever you call where the cylindre runs in :P .. it gets smoother and that is good for "less fuel consumption" and more "available" power ... don't overdo it .. just for a short time and only with a warm engine/oil ... Do this twice or three times while going towards the 1K miles and you have an extremely well broken in engine
